A citizen of Ukraine in a Renault car was driving from Poland to Ukraine through the Yahodyn border crossing point.

Taking into account the existing risks regarding the possible transportation of prohibited goods, the border guards together with the customs inspector decided to conduct an additional inspection of this car.

According to the results of an in-depth inspection, law enforcement officers found hiding places behind the driver's seats and under the lining of the cargo compartment. It turned out that the woman was secretly carrying 800 7.62 mm shell casings, 4.5 thousand 7.83 mm and 8.6 mm bullets, as well as 24 telescopic batons of 23 and 26 inches.

The Luboml branch of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Volyn region was informed about possible signs of a criminal offense. Officers of the National Police conducted an investigation and seized the vehicle.
